Processing
Our server will immediately start batch geocoding addresses in your file and return the results in seconds. Jobs under 100,000 records normally take less than 1 minute.
Match Addresses
Our online geocoder will attempt to match addresses to the side of the street. We use advanced name matching techniques to achieve a high geocoding success rate. Results vary by file but you can expect to achieve accurate geocodes on +/- 90% of your file.
Our Promise
You only pay for records that are geocoded. There is no obligation to purchase until you decide to download the final geocoded file. You can view the geocode match rate and download a sample of your geocoded data.
Volume Pricing for Bulk Geocodes
MapLarge is able to pass on volume discounts from our mapping customers to deliver exceptional pricing on bulk geocodes. Customers only pay for the records that geocode latitude and longitude. You can download a sample of your geocoded data and view the number of geocoded records before you purchase the geocoded file. We also offer monthly API access solutions, see the Geocoder API reference for additional details.

Match Quality Geocodes
- ExactMatch: Records that matched a street name are geocoded with no problems.
- KnownAlternateName: Records with a street name that matches a known alternate street name or a very common misspelling. Ex. MLK Drive would match Martin Luther King Dr.
- DirectionSuffixRemoved: Records where the street name was matched by removing the trailing street direction suffix. Ex. Main Street NE would be matched to Main Street
- DirectionPrefixRemoved: The leading direction removed from the street name to produce a geocode match. Ex. East Rock Springs Rd would be matched to Rock Springs Road.
- IntersectionExactMatch: We found the exact point where those roads intersect.
- IntersectionClosestPoint: We could not find an exact intersection of these two roads but we did find a point where they are very close to each other.
Error Codes
- Region Not Found: The state could not be found and the zip and city could not be used to infer the state. Place holder values of 0 will be entered.
- Error: Garbled or missing data in a malformed CSV row. Place holder values of 0 will be entered.
